Good information! Who can contribute a good success case of business storytelling? Thanks...

Storytelling Cases
Schon Beechler, USA
Steve Jobs told a wonderful story as his Stanford graduation address focusing on how getting fired from Apple was one of the best things that ever happened to it. You can Google it and find it easily.
Also, Bill George in his book, True North: Discover Your Authentic Leadership, has lots of senior exec's stories and his work on authentic leadership focuses on the importance of one's story.

Due to your suggestion, I could hear the Stanford graduation address. That is a very interesting story... And I have understood what is the storytelling. I think that customer's choice will be influenced by storytelling. I will read the book you recommended.:).

Our Platform is Burning: Sthephen Elop - CEO Nokia
Musa Makhunga, Strategy Consultant, South Africa
Stephen Elop (Nokia CEO) is likely to be known, not so much about how he turned around Nokia (through teaming up with Microsoft) in the quest to regain market share lost to Apple and to Google, but more about how he used the power of story telling to announce a major shake up at Nokia, through his "Our platform is burning"-memo.
He used story telling in the most profound and powerful way... A good case study indeed!
I'm aware of one CEO in my town who through this story is adopting the same story telling approach to ring in changes in his group. Story telling can bring back human interaction as it should have been on the shopfloor and in the boardroom alike.

Story Telling for Entrepreneurs
Foo K T, Director, Malaysia
I have experienced the stories of several entrepreneurs, about their beginnings, their hardships and their hopes. These are invaluable testimonies and offer insights into their strategies, their learning curves and their successes and non successes.
In our Asian setting, this is an important exercise in communication and learning, which we have embedded in our university courses, particularly in entrepreneurial strategies. Indeed these are real episodes of a journey in an environment of challenging business risks and failures, with possible wins and returns.
