Story Telling and Organizational Learning
Joe Griffin, Teacher, Australia

Story telling adds to informal and incidental Organizational Learning in organizations or social groups. It is a powerful means to build a desired culture in an organization where the stories told are reflective of the desired culture.

Story Telling and Organizational Learning
Lynn Parker, Analyst, United States
I received great input from my superior at work when I met with her to discuss what my focus would be as the facilitator for a meeting to discuss a new process which had to be developed. One of her comments was to start with a story. I followed suit and the meeting turned out great. Others began to tell their own personal stories of expriences affecting their lives. Story telling was something that I had not been exposed to, but I truly had not considered using that as a strategy. It really works. It reaches down deep, into the heart.
