Has anyone researched the "time characteristics" of various markets with the intention to establish early warnings/triggers of the next product life-cycle stage? This would allow time and revenue trends to guide management decisions.

Hi Iqshaan, this is a logical, but not a new idea, for market analysis and demand forecasting of new technologies see the Bass Diffusion Model (1969) by Frank Bass and the many later variations of his thinking.
