Assessing Job Applicants

Hi Everest, when I consider a job candidate for a position, I use 'behavioral interviewing
' to assess their qualifications and experience.
I also check formal references
(i.e. past supervisors/managers) and I verify academic qualifications
by directly contacting the educational institution. For positions dealing with vulnerable individuals (i.e. children), I have used 'criminal record checks
' to ensure risk is minimized.
Professional organizations will also test for professional knowledge
and a code of standard/ethics
