Most of the channel partners want to sell what is easy and gain more benefit. So I think that the software firm should make their products be easy to sell (put in the box if you can), low price but gain big sales volume or lowest customize and fit to any requirement. By the way, it is dependent on your target market of your software. Actually the developing countries need more develop in software industry compared to other industries such as Thailand and Asian countries. For the strategy is to find out those who have marketing channel network in each country such as Thailand.
