Companies focus on ROI and to engage employees we have to ensure there is a positive return on the employees' investment of time and effort. So monetary motivation remains the base for both the firm and the employee.
But the differentiators are the things that happen when you engage employees, they feel their opinions are heard, and they feel like their contributions make a difference... A sense of pride and enjoying a satisfying process each day.

Everyone needs to be appreciated even the simplest possible way. Teachers and administrators are significant for the school to continue existing; more so with the students. No students, no teachers, no administrators. Everyone is important. Everyone counts in the school. Everyone counts in any organizations. You are important.. You are greatly appreciated.

Of course if we need an organization to prosper we need to give an equal chance to all level of employees to participate, in order to give new ideas a chance in the various departments. Employees will be motivated when they see that they are part of the organisation's success and not just workers who do routine work.
