Establishing Priorities for Action
Leopoldo Rodriguez, CEO, Venezuela

I am looking for a method for determine which actions we should take first to satisfy our stakeholders in a social responsible environment. Any ideas?

Steps in Satisfying Stakeholders for CSR
Ruwan Bandara, Manager, Sri Lanka
Step 1 - Engaging employees with purpose of CSR or social responsible work you are going to do. As ice breaking event you can do some work like go to elder home in community area and wash cloth, make food, etc for elder home by all staff. This minimizes internal politics and self or inner satisfaction of employees. This must be planned and executed by the entire team.
Step 2 - Ddefine how you project work help for environment. How far? How to measure?
Step 3 - Forecast realistic benefit for shareholders? How effect share price? How effect employee moral?
Step 4 - How does this benefit the end customers? How does this effect your suppliers?

Actions for Creating a Socially Responsible Environment for Stakeholders
De Monte, Other, Canada
Leopoldo: First determine who the stakesholders are and assess what they consider to be socially important to them and what not. Then assess your corporate/company's willingness to work for/with the stakeholder values of social responsibility, to create the environment, for whatever, however and whenever.
Let us not pretend to be genuine and committed. You know the issues, concerns and risks facing your community/s, Venezuela, South America and the World, to plan your social contribution within your corporate/company scope. The social environment brings people with a common goal/s together to support and encourage one another, to build bridges for the stakeholders, society and the corporation/company. A cup of Venezuelan coffee goes a long way to bring a smile, a friendly shake of the hand for a positive social environment, to work together. Good luck.
