The process that we follow is to ensure that staff/participants apply the AI research/methodology
to enhance their immediate work environment.
That makes it more applicable to the research.
I presume that you make use of the soar to establish the existing strengths
. This was used by one of our participants to do the strategic planning in the education department (faculty) to establish a new direction in research and teaching.
What is also useful is to acknowledge the "shadow" - (problem area's)
and to also appreciate that. Although this may seem strange - it was proven that a new perspective on problem areas assist to manage these areas in a more constructive way. In many cases, problems lead to more innovative and creative ideas to solve - during the dream phase corrections are given to most of the problems - but then with the intention to solve.
