Brand recognition specifically has to do with whatever the product owner receives from his product users and consumers. Actual feelings and perceptions such consumers have about the product or brand among competing alternatives and similarities.
This level of patronage is what recognition is all about. Based on specific attributes of such product or service. The worry here is that recognition and perception emanate only from consumers and not producer's ratings or feelings.

Brand recognition is the feedback to the brand owner from customers after evaluating the supply and demand of the product /service in the market from the growth to the maturity stage of a product. Brand recognition depends on advertisement also. How much cost a company incurs in advertisement and what type of advertisement it uses.
