Theory of Planned Behavior and Maslow
Gert Kruger, Manager, Namibia

I have read some of the remarks here and am now wondering how TPB relates to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Any ideas on this?

Maslow's theory is about needs and motivation. However when you wish to get / achieve something you have to work for it with focused attention. Therefore we can say it involves some element of our behaviour also.

Self worth and esteem can also come into play when someone is involved in a decision making process and implementation.
