Definition Quantitative Investment Analysis. Description.


Quantitative Investment Analysis is the process of determining the value of investments, mostly securities, by examining a corporation's financial, numerical, and measurable data and projections such as its:

  • Revenues / sales.

  • Profits / earnings.

  • Margins.

  • Market share.

  • The value of its assets.

  • The cost of capital.

Often ratios are used for this purpose: financial ratios and investing models.
